Guest Speaker: Peter Castaldi

Peter CastaldiPeter CastaldiPeter has worked in film journalism, exhibition, distribution and marketing for all of his professional life, save for a six-year stint as a chef and restaurant owner which financed his early ABC journalism career.

He is one of the country’s most highly experienced festival and film marketing consultants and managers. He is also recognised as a film and entertainment journalist and commentator. Peter has worked in the private and public sector as a cinema and festival programmer and manager for Valhalla Cinemas, Dendy Cinemas, City of Sydney, Arts New South Wales, the Australian Film Commission (AFC), Dungog Film Festival, and SOCOG.

He has consulted to Hoyts, Hopscotch, Disney Pictures, Australian Film Syndicate, Umbrella Entertainment, Galvanized Film Group, Mushroom Pictures, the Australian Film Institute (AFI), and Felix Media on theatrical programming, sales and marketing.
