Script Development Workshops
| Frequency | Normally the fourth Monday of the month (rescheduled for public holidays and film festivals) |
| Time | 6.30pm — 9.00pm |
| Location | Maroubra Junction (Exact details provided to Members via e-mail) |
| Objective | To develop good scripts to generate better NAFA film projects by bringing together the three elements of writing, acting, and filmmaking. |
We aim to provide a workshop environment for the nurturing of good scripts with a view to production. We consider both short and feature length scripts. We know everybody talks about their great ideas for a fantastic script; well, here’s the means to make it happen.
Submitting Scripts
Writers must book scripts and provide the following before the workshop:
- Title
- Number of pages in standard script format
- Logline
- Brief synopsis
- Character briefs
If accepted, you will be sent further instructions.
Short Films: Up to four short film scripts can be read per monthly workshop.
Feature Films: If a feature script is booked, then the whole workshop will be dedicated to its reading.
