Andrea has been a Screen Investment Manager at Create NSW working across development, production finance, and a range of screen initiatives since 2017. Prior to this, she worked as a Development and Production Executive at Screen NSW (2016–17) assessing projects across all project types and genres.

As an award-winning documentary filmmaker, Andrea worked across a broad range of factual programs in film, radio, TV, and digital. In a career spanning 30 years she has held roles such as television reporter, newsreader, director, producer, post producer, and consultant executive producer for domestic and international broadcasters. She has worked with the ABC, SBS, Nine Network, Network Ten, ARTE, BBC, National Geographic, UKTV, Discovery, S4C Wales, and CBC (Canada).

Prior to joining Create NSW, Andrea was a Commissioning Editor, Factual at the ABC (2014–16), commissioning a large range of high-rating, award-winning television singles and formats, as well as executive producing the ABC’s long-running religion and ethics series “Compass”, presented by Geraldine Doogue.

Andrea is also a regular judge for the Banff World Media Festival in Canada and the Australian Directors’ Guild Awards. She is a film assessor and selector for Queer Screen’s film festivals and a guest moderator at the Antenna Documentary Film Festival in Sydney.
