Tim R. Leadetail of photo by Nathaniel C.T. Jackson Tim is an entrepreneurial ex-banker who wrote, directed, and co-produced 54 Days, an internationally award-winning microbudget feature film that secured UK distribution late last year.

The film, a post-apocalyptic psychological thriller, centres on five people trapped in an old nuclear bunker after an attack on Sydney. When the food and water begin to run out they are forced to make the inevitable decision.

Having spent 13 years screenwriting and having two scripts optioned, Tim got fed up with waiting for other producers to get things done and decided to leverage his business and finance skills to produce his first feature.

Microbudget filmmaking is tough all the way from writing to production. Whereas a limited production budget forces you to be creative, a limited marketing budget makes it a very hard slog. But for the right script Tim will do it all again.
