Tony Chu

A medical graduate of The University of Sydney, Tony has worked as a hospital doctor for over 25 years at almost every NSW hospital.

In that time he has encountered the many extremes of paediatric medicine: from the routine, such as giving advice on immunisation, to urgent resuscitation of newborns; managing emergencies; air-lifting intensive care patients; disclosing bad news and consoling parents; as well as teaching medical students.

Tony is also an accomplished actor (“Packed to the Rafters”, “Wild Boys”, and many others), a prolific award-winning filmmaker of over 30 short films, a medical adviser to film and TV, and a screenwriter with a feature film in development.  LinkedIn
