We don’t screen off DVDs. NAFA festivals take full advantage of the cinema environment and offer HD and 35mm projection (including Dolby Digital sound). Films finished on standard definition will still get a projection far better than DVD as we’ll obtain a screening tape or video file from the filmmaker.

Show-Fest is held in late April or early May and showcases short films made by Members. It features a generous time limit that gives longer shorts a chance to screen. It also includes a “Show & Tell” component, inviting all cast and crew to a friendly Q&A.
